City to City Africa is built on relationships and networks across the continent.     Dennis Kilama

    East Africa Catalyst

    Dr Dennis Kilama is a Council member of The Gospel Coalition Africa. He has served as a lecturer and the Deputy Vice Chancellor of Africa Renewal University in Uganda, an evangelical University equipping leaders to transform society. Dennis is an ordained minister under the Baptist Union of Uganda and has served as senior pastor of Lugogo Baptist Church in Kampala. He is currently on sabbatical leave as he pursues his PhD in Philanthropy at Indiana University, Indiana, USA. Dennis has written and researched on cross cultural missions and contextualisation. He also serves on several boards engaged in missions mobilisation and training in Uganda. Dennis is married to Yvonne and God has blessed them with three children.

    Samuel Boateng

    West Africa Catalyst

    Samuel Boateng is a regional catalyst for City to City Africa, leading the work in West Africa from his base in Accra, Ghana. He is one of several key figures in the organization's regional strategy, which divides the continent into four regions, each overseen by a catalyst.

    City to City Africa, a parachurch organization, focuses on fostering urban gospel networks and supporting church planters and ministry leaders in major African cities. The organization's work is rooted in a model originating from Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City, which was inspired by the church planting efforts of Tim Keller. Tobie Meyer, the executive director of City to City Africa, was instrumental in establishing the African branch in 2017, aiming to create a contextually relevant training environment for African pastors.

    The organization conducts intensive training events, with plans for an English intensive in May, a Portuguese intensive in August, and a French intensive in October, drawing participants from across the continent.

  3. Olivier Kouadio

    Olivier Kouadio

    Central Africa Catalyst

    Olivier Bi Kouadio serves as the Central Africa Catalyst for City to City Africa, where he supports and equips church leaders to plant and strengthen gospel-centered churches across the region.

    Based in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, Olivier is passionate about seeing cities transformed through the power of the gospel and the collaboration of local leaders. He also serves as the Youth Pastor at Église la Maison de la Destinée and as a facilitator for City Impact Institute Abidjan, where he helps train emerging leaders for urban ministry.

    Olivier accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in 2001 and was consecrated to the pastoral ministry in December 2014. He has been married to Jacqueline since 2003, and together they are blessed with five children — four boys and one girl.
